In accordance with Little League (LL) regulations, for a child to participate in Birmingham Little League (BLL), eligibility must first be established by way of residency inside BLL's boundary or by attendance at a school located inside BLL's boundary.

If your child resides within our district, you are all set. If your child does not live within our boundary, but does attend a school within our boundary you must complete the School Enrollment Form.

For players not residing or attending school within BLL's boundary you may still play in our BLL regular season (however, you are ineligible for our post-season All-Star teams) provided that a Residency Waiver Request Form is completed.  Please complete sections 1 & 4.  The rest will be completed by league administrators.

In accordance with Little League regulations, your child's LL age is determined by the LL Age Chart.  Basically, it is your child's age as of August 31 of the current LL season.

TEE BALL: League age 5 with some 4 and 6 year old. Softer baseball hit off a tee.  Teams are assigned by school, location and/or special requests. Must be at least 4 years old before April 1 of the season.

COACH PITCH: League ages 6-7 with some 5 (with TEE BALL experience) and some 8.  Softer baseball, coaches pitch to players.  Teams are assigned by school, location and/or special requests.

A MINORS (developmental kid-pitch): League age 8 with a few 7 and 9.  Machine-pitch transitioning to player-pitch baseball with beginner rules.  Players attend evaluations and a draft is held to create balanced teams.

AAA ASSOCIATION: League ages 9-10.  Standard LL rules with some exceptions.  Players attend evaluations and a draft is held to create balanced teams.

MAJORS: League ages 11-12.  Our premier league.  Standard LL rules are used.  Players attend evaluations and a draft is held to create balanced teams.

JUNIORS: League ages 13-14 (and 15 year-olds yet to enter High School). Mostly High School rules.  Players attend evaluations and a draft is held to create balanced teams.

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION runs through December 31.
REGULAR REGISTRATION begins January 1 and ends January 31.
LATE REGISTRATION begins February 1 and ends February 28. This is the close of registration for all divisions except TeeBall.
ANY ACCEPTED REGISTRATION following registration close will be assessed an additional $25 fee except for Tee Ball.

Any BLL approved parent requested transfer(s) from age appropriate registered division to another will be assessed a $25 fee.

There is a family maximum of $550.00 through December 31 & $600.00 through January 31.  The family maximums ONLY apply if registering PRIOR to February 1.

BLL has a No Refund policy for cancellation. Please ensure your commitment to the season prior to completing the registration process. Contact Mike Nagridge, BLL Registration Director, for extenuating circumstances. Any BLL approved cancellations will be assessed a $50 fee.

A $3 service fee will be added to all transactions to cover the merchant processing fees.  This is a charge from Stack Sports and not BLL.
